Excerpt

The hard ridge of his cock rocked against her belly. “Your clothes are much more accessible to play.” He pushed his hands beneath the elastic waistband of her scrubs and burrowed into the silky bikini underwear to the furry mound at the juncture of her thighs.

“I can’t believe we’re doing this in a janitor’s closet.” Despite her words, her legs spread to give him more maneuvering room.

“I’d rather have you in my bed.” With his index finger, he parted the thick folds and stroked the cleft between.

Julie moaned, her back arching, pressing her into his hand. “What if someone comes?” she gasped.

“What if you come?” He paused, his fingers cupping her sex lightly. “Do you want me to stop?”

“Are you kidding?” She grabbed his arm and pushed him deeper. “If you stop now, I’ll die.”

He needed no further encouragement. Like a mechanic, he dipped his finger in to test how slick and lubricated she was. “God, you’re wet.” He dragged creamy juices up to that sensitive nub and flicked it until Julie leaned into him, gasping. Raw need filled her, nerves jumping with every stroke, until she was spiraling up and over the edge, her pelvis jerking her release. Then she pressed her forehead to his chest. “Oh, God.” With a long deep breath, she blew out in a sharp stream against his neck. “Now, your turn.”

She was fumbling with his belt buckle when the door handle jerked.

Snippet Saturday: Circle in the Sand (Warm Weather)

Billionaire Husband Test
(Billionaire Online Dating System)
by Elle James (aka Myla Jackson)

Blurb
The first book in the Billionaire Online Dating Service Series.

Skeptical billionaire takes a risk on a friend's online dating service and finds the cowgirl of his dreams, now he only has to convince her that he's her perfect match

Billionaire Online Dating Service. It's new, it's exclusive. Let's test it!

How did Billionaire Cooper Johnson allow himself to get roped into testing a brand new online dating system? After making a fortune day-trading stocks, he's on track to accomplish all his life goals, except marriage and a family. As a billionaire, meeting the right woman is a minefield of gold-diggers, false eyelashes and surgically enhanced women. The Billionaire Online Dating Service matches hand-picked, screened clientele with the mates of their dreams. Or so the package was sold. As a favor for a friend, Cooper finds himself on the Rockin' J Ranch confronting his "date's" four tough looking cowboy brothers. When their girl-next-door, long, tall, gorgeous sister steps out on the porch, Cooper doesn't know whether to run to her or away. One date, that's all he's signed up for and he can be out of there. Or will one date be enough?

She had everything—a fiancé, a great future, love...until she lost it all

Still mourning the loss of her fiancé who died two years ago, Emma Jacobs can't imagine loving anyone else. But her four brothers won't quit pushing men her way. In a desperate attempt to throw her brothers off her back, she engages her friend's dating service to find a pasty-faced businessman sure to fail her brothers' husband criteria. Maybe then her brothers will finally back off and leave her alone.

Best laid plans tend to blow up in Emma's face. When her date turns out to be everything her brothers are looking for in a husband for Emma, she's got a bigger problem than she started out with. She lets Cooper in on her plan to have him date and dump her. Surprisingly he goes along with it. But Cooper has plans of his own. And they don't involve dumping the determined, sexy, independent cowgirl.

Note: Make a stop at Myla Jackson's Ugly Stick Saloon in this story and say hi to old friends.

Excerpt

For the first hour, Emma wanted to laugh at how her brothers put Cooper through his paces. They left him the heaviest bales and cracked crude jokes, perfectly playing the part of obnoxious country rednecks. She hadn't expected Cooper, a man who traded stock for a living, to last four minutes, much less four hours under the wilting heat and back-breaking work. But he'd hung in with the others, working just as hard and long. When he'd pulled off his shirt and Emma almost ran over a hay bale, she realized she might be in trouble. He wasn't at all what she'd wanted Leslie to send.

For a man who made his living behind a desk, he didn't have an ounce of flab and his chest was solid, tanned and positively drool-worthy.

Damn. If he didn't watch it, he'd earn a nod from her brothers and that wasn't the point of this whole exercise. Emma wanted this guy to run scared and for her brothers to rule him out as husband material. By the time they headed back to the barn, the men were all on first-name basis. Cooper laughed and joked right along with her brothers. She had to admit, she admired the man—for sticking it out, and for a lot of other things she'd been working hard for the past three hours to forget—pecs, arms, abs...

Out on the range, Emma wished she'd had reception on her cell phone. She'd have called Leslie and chewed her out for sabotaging her efforts to get her brothers off her back. Instead, she'd sat, stewing in her juices behind the steering wheel as she pulled into the barnyard.

When she climbed out of the truck and faced Cooper, who still had his shirt off, she forced herself to look away. "Thanks," she said.

"Yeah, thanks. We got that done a lot faster with your help." Ace pounded Cooper's back.

"Didn't think a stock trader had it in him, but you proved me wrong." Dillon slapped his cowboy hat against his dusty leg. "You're all right in my books."

Colton nodded. "Yup, you got a keeper there, Emma."

"Don't screw it up." Brand gave Emma a hug.

"Geez, Brand, you stink." Emma pushed him away, realizing she would have to do a lot more to convince her brothers this was the wrong man. She cocked her brows upward and gazed into Cooper's face, trying to act natural, knowing she was about to set him up for the fall. Literally. Hell, desperate times called for desperate measures. "Up for that picnic now?"

Cooper glanced down at his naked chest, gleaming with sweat. "I could do with a shower."

"Got one better than that." Emma went in for the first kill. "I'd planned on taking you to a little pool on Willow Creek where we could swim and enjoy the lunch Mrs. Fuentez packed.”

“That’s a great idea.” Dillon grinned. “Especially after sweating in the field. Who’s in?”

Ace backhanded Dillon in the gut. “I think they’d enjoy it better just the two of them.”

Cooper's lips twisted and he scrubbed a hand through his sweaty hair. “I didn’t bring a swimsuit.”

With an eyebrow arched, Emma smiled. “Swimsuits aren’t required.” She flounced away, her smile widening. “I’ll collect the food.” That would get her brothers’ dander up. Though she was twenty-five years old, they still treated her like the kid sister who had to be protected and coddled.

Skinny-dipping with a stranger should have all of their brotherly warning bells pinging.

Snippet Saturday: Hot Pursuit

Five-Second Seduction

Blurb

Welcome back to the Ugly Stick Saloon with this short story about Charli's fifth foray into sexual fantasies with the cowboys of Temptation, Texas.

Horny is putting it mildly...
Charli sets her sights on seducing the gorgeous war veteran and local cowboy, Connor Mason, to see what sexual delights he's been holding out on.

Will he measure up?

Waiting by the phone has never been something Charli does well. If she can't figure out who her mystery cowboy is, the least she can do is discover whether or not Connor Mason could be the cowboy for her. If he has what it takes, she might just be willing to tell Original Sin to take a hike the next time he calls.

Warning: Sexy, sweet cowboy, cornered by one hot and horny woman, seeking sexual satisfaction...

Excerpt

When Connor reached around her to rinse his plate in the sink, Charli made her first move. She turned so fast, they stood almost nose-to-nose, her breasts pressing against his chest, her mouth so close to his lips, she could almost taste them. Her heart hammering, she gave a little giggle. "Oops, sorry." Then she ducked under his arm. She'd given him a taste, just a little taste, of what it felt like to get close.

After stowing the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, she busied herself pulling clean spoons from the drawer. When she thought he might be looking her way, Charli leaned up on her toes, stretching an arm high over her head and reaching up into the cabinet where she kept her coffee. She banked on the dress rising up enough to display a healthy portion of her naked ass.

"Look, I appreciate your being so—" Connor's words choked off mid-sentence.

Bingo. Charli cast a glance over her shoulder as she lowered her arm and her dress hem. "I'm sorry, you were saying?"

Connor cleared his throat and continued, his eyes wide and still resting on her hem, now clearly covering her bottom. "—accommodating. Thank you for being so accommodating. Grant would have had to eat by himself."

She turned back to the cabinet for a second time, reaching for the sugar. "He seems nice. Good-looking too." Rising slowly on her toes, she lifted an arm again, her dress inching upward with the movement...

Connor was behind her in an instant, plucking the sugar from the top shelf. "On second thought, I think Grant isn't into coffee. It's probably time we left."

Charli spun, knocking a coffee mug to the floor where it crashed along with all her hopes of seducing Connor Mason. Ducking her head to hide her shock, she bent to pick up the broken pieces. "Are you sure?"

"What's all the noise in here? Everyone all right?" Grant pushed through the swinging door into the kitchen, his gaze going to where Charli squatted, gathering ceramic shards.

Charli forced a smile. "I was just being clumsy."

Grant grinned. "Are you making coffee?"

"No, she's not." Connor pulled Charli to her feet, brushing at her dress until it covered her thighs. "It's time for us to go. Come on, Grant."

Excerpt

Richard kept an outward appearance of calm, awaiting the opportunity to reap revenge on this thief.
Once he’d been divested of his watch and ring, Richard attempted once again to turn.

“Not so fast.” The cold steel pressed against his temple. “I’m going to back away slowly. If you so much as sneeze, I’ll shoot you so fast you won’t know what hit you.

The sound of boots crunched against the hard packed dirt and loose gravel. A horse pawed the earth a few feet away.

When he heard the squeak of saddle leather, Richard scooped a handful of dirt, rolled to the side and sprang toward the horse and the thief, tossing the dirt into the horse’s eyes.

The sleek black stallion reared into the air, dumping its rider to the ground. The thief lay still in the shadows cast by the moon on the trees.

Richard stood, brushed the dust from his good pants and strode toward the inert body. Had the fall killed the thief?

The pistol lay to the side a yard from the black gloved hand. The man’s slight form led Richard to believe him but a boy or a very small man, though difficult to tell with his face covered by a black mask and his hat tightly tied beneath his chin. So tightly it hadn’t flown off in the fall.

“Let’s see who the Black Bandit is.” Richard bent over the still form and removed the hat. Glossy dark hair caught in the strap and pulled loose from a leather band. A great deal of ebony hair. More than fashionable for a man. More appropriate for a woman.

As he lifted the edge of the black mask hiding the bandit’s face, his heart beat like thunder inside his chest and his hands shook. Beneath the black hat and mask lay the face of an angel.

The angel he’d met in the garden at Mrs. Clancy’s matching-making ball.

Miss Julia Blackmon.

Snippet Saturday: Heat Wave

Trouble with Will

Blurb

In 1924, William and his friend Harry, adventurous archeologists, uncover their greatest discovery--the magical stone of Azhi. Legend tells of the stone's great power to grant wishes. When Will lays his hands on the prize, he's sucked into a bottle to sleep for over eighty years.
In the twenty-first century, collector of rare objects of great value, Kate Brandt, purchases what she thinks is the Eye of the Serpent only to receive in its place a dusty ancient bottle. When she brushes away the dust of thousands of years, a naked Will appears out of thin air. Because she was the one to wake Will from his long sleep, Kate is able to wish for anything her heart desires and Will has to grant it. And boy, does she use it to get what she wants! Join Kate and Will in a wild ride through the streets of Riyadh and across the desert and learn that wishes can come true, even when you're not sure you wished for it!

Excerpt

“Now what?” Will asked the empty room. Without Kate in it, he was at a loss and not liking it. “If you really can make wishes come true you could at least wish me some decent clothing,” he shouted through the panel.
More muttering sounded from within and then the building rocked. As thunder rattled the windows, Will felt his skin tingle. When he looked down, he had the damned clown suit on again.

“Just who the hell is Elvis, some freak in a sideshow?” he yelled at the panels of the closed door.

The door crashed open and Kate stood there wearing what looked like a black, sleeveless undershirt and khaki pants and carrying a brush. Her hair hung down around her shoulders and the fire was back in her eyes. “Elvis was the king.”

“King of what? Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus?” He had a hard time concentrating on the conversation when there was still so much of Kate’s arms and shoulders to see beneath the slip of a shirt.

“What do you know? If you really are from, what was it, 1924, you wouldn’t have a clue.”

“I am and I don’t. Enlighten me.”

As Kate raked the brush through her hair, she explained, “Elvis was the king of rock and roll, a new era in music that changed everything.”

“Interesting. And did you know Elvis personally?”

“No, he died before I was born.”

“Then why did you say he wasn’t dead?”

“I wasn’t talking about Elvis.” She turned away from him and strapped a knife to her forearm.

“If you weren’t talking about Elvis who had your knickers all in a twist?”

“Oooh!” She faced him with the knife pointed at his chest. “I did not have my knickers in a twist.”

“Did too.” Will pushed the knife aside. “Be careful where you point that. And tell me that isn’t all you’re going to wear. Do all women go around partially clothed and wearing men’s trousers?”

With a deep breath, she blew air out her nose like an angry bull. “I wish you’d go to Hell, Will.”

“Please tell me you didn’t wish me to go to Hell.” He grimaced and waited. As expected, the floor beneath him rolled. “I don’t have a good feeling about this.”

“Too bad. You pissed me—”

Before Kate finished her sentence, Will’s world went black.
* * * * *
Will staggered through a blisteringly hot, red desert. The wind blew at hurricane force, blasting him with sand and ash. Everything, including the air he breathed, burned like fire. The white fringe hanging from his arms burst into flame. As he flapped around like a bird, his eyebrows started smoking. Alternating between flapping and slapping his eyebrows, Will yelled into the sand-filled gusts, “Harry, what have you gotten me into?”
