18 inches of the white stuff

Yesterday was a wild day of snow, snow and more snow. You folks up north would say, so what! In the south, snow means no school, no work, no driving! We have limited capabilities for snow removal which is a big business in the north. Not so in the south. We may only get 2 days of snow each year. Not worth investing in snow removal equipment. So when it snows, it's a BIG DEAL. But it's also a wonderful change from just dreary gray skies. The blanket of white spread out as far as the eye can see is beautiful if you don't have to look at if for 6 months out of the year. It's a chance to play in the white stuff without getting tired of it and when the sun shines down on it like it is now, it's blindingly beautiful. Sigh...Supposed to start melting tomorrow. I thought I'd dedicate this blog to the snow today.
