Excerpt:
My feet pressed to the floor as the elevator lifted against gravity. Tristan turned, facing me. His sultry stare bore through my body, and I felt my back press against the mirrored wall.

It wasn’t supposed to be like this. He wasn’t supposed to hold power over me; no man ever had. I was a cop. A strong cop who wasn’t swayed by crying mothers, cute puppies, or gorgeous hunks speeding in their Ferraris, offering everything they owned and more. But I was also a woman – and to Tristan, my body responded of its own accord. I felt my breasts swell and I wished I’d worn a dress with a larger top: one that could hold the twins in better. Tristan didn’t seem to mind.

“So, what will two thousand dollars buy me, sweetheart?”

Even if we were playing, I had a feeling this was going to be one hell of an interview—one of the best ones I’d ever had.

“Whatever you want.” I wondered how far he’d go, and how far I’d allow him to go. I already knew what he wanted. My instincts were solid, especially the hormonal ones. My body had secretly ached for his touch since he’d walked into the auditorium. And that one deep kiss we’d shared in his car was like a teasing spoonful of chocolate cake. I craved chocolate cake; and not just a bite.

And before I could say another word, Tristan crushed his mouth to mine, possessing it like he owned me, spreading my lips apart with his needy tongue. The hint of scotch still lingered in his mouth. And at this moment, he did own me. Every. Single. Piece of me.

His grip on my wrists above my head would have normally enraged me. But tonight I wasn’t a cop, and his strong and demanding fingers wrapped around my hands like cuffs, burning me with a long-forgotten yearning.
The force of his lips devoured mine, his tongue exploring my mouth. The few moans that escaped me, Tristan swallowed. I had no room to breathe and found hardly enough strength to stand on my legs.
He let go of my mouth and trailed his lips along my jaw to my cheek and ear before lowering down my neck, pinning me against the wall. Oh, God, he felt so good against my body. Everything inside me twisted and tightened and released in unbearable pulses between my thighs. I breathed him in, the oak smell of his scotch imprinted in his skin and in his hair.

The elevator halted and Tristan jolted up as if he’d just realized what he’d done. He searched my eyes with his as if asking permission to go on. And for the first time tonight, doubt crept in. He leaned his forehead against mine.

“We can’t do this. I’m your employee,” I whispered into his mouth. But inside, I laughed at my own unconvincing words, feeling the heat between my legs penetrate my dampened panties.
The open elevator door chimed the second time.

“Your body says we can.” He cupped my engorged breasts, one in each hand, squeezing them in slow motion, feeling their full weight.

I held my breath, pushing my chest into his palms, filling them.

He looked straight into my eyes. “And you’re not hired until the morning.”

This time, his mouth took my lips slowly. The forceful tongue softened, teasing my gums, and I couldn’t get enough of his taste as he guided me into his apartment. We never broke our kiss and I couldn’t remember when my arms wrapped around his neck and fingers weaved through his silky hair. Tristan’s hands slid down my body and under my skirt, scrunching it up to my waist, and I felt him smile against my mouth.

“You’re prepared.” His palm covered the hand gun in a holster strapped to my thigh.

“You never know what weirdo you’ll run into on the street.”

He laughed, pulling the buckle open. Tristan set my piece aside on the table.

“What else are you hiding there?” He drew his finger along my brow, looking deep into my eyes. And for a moment I thought he could see everything, including my soul.

“Things I can never forget.” Did I just say that?

“I want to help you forget, for tonight at least.” The comfort and understanding in his eyes struck me deep inside. But behind those deep amber-like gems there was also pain. I wasn’t the only one hurting. Whatever had happened to Tristan must have been bad. Perhaps he was scarred as deep as I was? Had he ever allowed anyone to see what was hidden, layers deep inside his heart? I wondered what secrets he held and whether he’d share them.

“I’m going to fuck you now.” His voice thickened with lust as his fingers gripped the lace panties on my ass. The way he’d said this so nonchalantly comforted me. Like it was something we both needed and wanted.
A fuck to forget.

“If that’s what two thousand dollars buys, fuck away.” When I looked into his eyes, Tristan understood completely.
Tightening his grip, he lifted me up and seized my mouth. I wrapped my legs around his waist, my arms holding onto his upper body. Tristan carried me across his apartment, but I couldn’t remember a single detail about the place, except the faint smell of scotch, manly musk, and Tristan.
I loved smelling him.

His lips felt so good and natural against my mouth, just as it had when he’d kissed me that first time in the car. I’d dreamt about that luscious kiss every night. But this was much better than a dream, because his lips were warm and real. His bulging arms and flexing muscles as he carried me so effortlessly pulsed under my body. I wasn’t sure when he’d laid me down on the bed, or removed my skirt, panties, or even the top, because the next time he pulled away from my mouth and I looked up, I was naked, in a faintly lit bedroom, propped on my elbows, watching Tristan remove his jeans and shirt.

BOOTS AND ROSES
by Myla Jackson

Welcome back to the Ugly Stick Saloon!

Blurb

Bunny Leigh really shouldn’t care that her ex is days away from getting remarried. Yet the fact he’s getting hitched to the woman he cheated on her with stings more than she cares to admit.

It’s that sting that drives her to impulsively throw a bid in the annual Ugly Stick Saloon Cowboy Auction. To her surprise, she lands not only one of the best-looking men in the tri-county area, but two. The prospect of keeping up with two younger men has the shy florist quaking in her flower pots.

Little does she know, best friends Cory McBride and Jack Monahan made doubly sure their favorite florist won them both. But now they have their work cut out for them, convincing her they want more than one steamy night. They want a chance at forever.

Warning: A cop, a cowboy and a flower shop owner make the petals fly! And look what happens when the Ferris wheel stops at the top. Bring a fan, the heat’s rising at the Ugly Stick Saloon.

Excerpt

“So it’s agreed?” Cory leaned back in the booth at PJ’s Diner at ten past eleven o’clock that morning. “The date is set. It’ll be the both of us, and we’ll behave like gentlemen. No expectations of anything afterward?”

Jack sighed. “I had hoped for more. I hadn’t realized just how obsessed I was with her until I counted the number of bud vases in my closets. Do you realize I’ve been in that flower shop once a week for six months? I have twenty-six vases taking up room at the house.”

“Take them back to Bunny. She could use them for your next twenty-six purchases.”

“I can’t do that. Then she’ll know I wasn’t buying them for my mother.”

Cory shook his head. Jack had a heart as big as his shoe size. “Well, don’t think I’m going to let you win her over all to yourself. I’ve been delivering flowers for her for the past three months, even though I don’t need the money.”

“You know? We’re pretty darned pathetic if you ask me. Why the hell have we been beatin’ around the bush when we could have fessed up and been datin’ her all along?”

“I didn’t want to commit to anything until I finished my undergrad degree. And with med school looming, I’m still straddlin’ the fence. She put her ex through dental school. I wouldn’t blame her if she ran screaming from a relationship with me, because I’m going to be gone to school in Dallas all week, every week for four years.”

“Yeah, you got it rough.” Jack’s lips quirked upward on the sides. “Which should make her decision easy. She’ll choose me.”

“Over my dead body. I thought of dating her first.”

“I’ve been courtin’ her in my own way for six months.”

“Buying flowers for your mother?” Cory snorted. “Look, buddy, we’ve already agreed to share Bunny. Stick to the plan. We need to get her used to the idea of having both of us. Which means we need to let her see us separately, get to know each of us individually, and then ease her into the idea of both of us.”

“I’ll take lunch today, since I’m working the night shift,” Jack jumped in.

“Okay. Which means I gotta coax an invite to the Temptation Garden Club meeting tonight.” Cory let out a long breath. “Joy.” He pushed back from the table. “Between now and then, I need to get back to my computer. The stock market is supposed to be falling today. I want to get in on some good stock sales.” He planned on doing just that…after he stopped in the flower shop to see Bunny.

“Yeah. I need to check on some construction supplies for the house.” Jack tossed bills on the table and stood. “Guess I’ll see you later.”

Cory pushed through the door and turned left.

“Hey, isn’t your truck parked over there?” Jack pointed to the right.

With a sigh, Cory realized he wasn’t going to get by with a lie. “I thought I’d stop by and see Bunny first.”

“Not before me, you aren’t.” Jack let go of the door and stepped out smartly, heading straight for the Sweet Temptations Flower Shop.

Cory tore out after him, running to catch up and overtake the big cop. By the time they reached the shop, they were sprinting to the finish line.

Excerpt

With Julie framed in the doorway with nothing but a towel between him and all her beautiful skin, Roger’s mouth had no choice but to go completely dry. And he’d thought she was sexy in her nurse’s uniform. Holy shit, she was hot. He cleared his throat and forced words past his lips. “Nice way to greet a guy.”

“Get in here,” she said, yanking him across the threshold. “I’m running a little behind.”

“That’s fine. Our reservation isn’t until eight. Take your time. In fact…” He snagged her around the middle and pulled her into his arms. “We don’t even have to go to the restaurant. We could call out for pizza or something and stay here.” He nuzzled her neck and nipped at her earlobe. “Umm you smell like flowers. So what’s it to be? Eat out or eat in?” Roger knew his preference and he tasted the main course by trailing kisses across her bare shoulder and downward to the edge of the towel.

Julie arched into him, sliding a naked leg up his chino-clad calf. “Tough decision,” she muttered against the base of his throat where she pressed her lips and tongued the indention. Her leg climbed higher until she’d hooked it around his buttocks. With her arms circled around his neck, she wrapped the other leg around his waist and claimed his lips in a deep-throat kiss, he wasn’t soon to forget.

The ride up his hips raised the towel, exposing her buttocks to his probing hands. Holding her steady, he carried her toward the bedroom, one goal in mind. To sink deep into her special wet place as fast as he could drop his zipper.

SNIPPET SATURDAY - Be My Baby

BOOTS AND CHAPS
an UGLY STICK SALOON story
by Myla Jackson

BLURB

Jackson Gray Wolf is turning thirty, and what does he have to show for it? A ranch. No wife, no kids, no dates. He’s had his eye on the pretty owner of the Ugly Stick Saloon, but their one accidental encounter was interrupted before he could get her out of her take-me-now red cowboy boots.

Audrey Anderson isn’t in the market for a man. Been there, done that, has the scars to prove it. She retired her pole-dancing boots after purchasing the Ugly Stick Saloon, and now manages a stable of strippers. When she winds up one stripper short for a private party, she’s forced to slip on a mask and into the role of the mysterious Kiki.

Jackson didn’t want the birthday bash his twin brothers are throwing him, but his vow to ignore the rented stripper goes awry when she shows him exactly how far she’s willing to go—for all three of them.
Audrey can’t forget the sizzling heat between her and one sexy Kiowa in particular. Jackson. Trouble is, she’s not sure if he wants the bold, brassy Kiki, or if he’s ready for the wounded woman underneath.

Warning: This title contains hot scenes with multiple partners, with a little BDSM on the side. Caution—it could melt your e-reader!

EXCERPT (Jackson  manwoman-handled into stripping at the Ugly Stick)

Jackson groaned. He couldn’t get off the bar or his privates would be so violated he might never sire children. All he could do was wait out the storm and hope the women got bored and left soon.

Mark and Luke swayed to the music, flexing their muscles and grinding their hips.

Cries rose from the ladies, and they shouted, “More!”

At the back of the crowd a glimpse of strawberry-blonde hair caught Jackson’s eye like a ray of hope in a stormy sky. Was it…?

A woman made a grab for the red boot he held in front of his dick and jerked it out of his hand. “We want to see.”

Jackson lunged for the boot, falling into the crowd. Like a rock star at a concert, they moved him above their heads, touching, feeling and fondling all the way.

He spotted the red boot on the floor near someone’s feet, and he rolled to the side, disrupting the chain of hands. He dropped to the floor, lunged for the boot, and it was whisked out of sight before he could get his hands on it. He straightened, his gaze climbing the denim-clad legs to face off with Greta Sue, the female bouncer. In her hand, she held the boot. “Looking for this?”

Jackson smiled and winced as the woman behind him reached between his legs and squeezed his scrotum.
Greta Sue glared at the woman. “Back off, bitch.”

The woman let go of Jackson’s balls and stepped back.

Straightening to his full height, Jackson squared off with Greta Sue. “Yes. I was looking for that.”

She inspected the boot. “Not your size.”

A hand snaked out from behind Greta Sue and plucked the boot from her fingers. “No, but it’s mine.” Audrey’s voice carried over the roar of the crowd.

Jackson’s heart thundered against his ribs. This was not the way he envisioned this meeting would go. He fought the urge to fig-leaf his hand over his penis. She’d seen it all, touched it and fucked it. That last thought put life into his limp dick. Ah, hell, the more he tried not to think about all they’d done, the more he did and the bigger his cock swelled.

Several women standing nearby gasped.

One touched her throat and cried, “Oh, my.” Fingers stretched out to touch his member.

Greta Sue blocked her hand. “Don’t touch the merchandise.”

Jackson grinned at her. “Thanks.”

“Thanks, nothing. I want a clear view, not some skanky female’s hands all over, blocking that masterpiece.”
“Greta Sue,” Audrey said in a quiet, authoritative voice. “I’ll take it from here.”

Greta Sue grunted. “I just bet you will.” The big woman moved to the side, clearing the path between Audrey and Jackson.

Audrey’s brows rose, her gaze skimming him from head to foot. “Lose something?”

He shrugged, forcing a nonchalance he didn’t feel standing naked in front of a hundred drooling women. “More like I found something.”

Snippet Saturday - Author's Choice

BOOTS AND LACE
an UGLY STICK SALOON story
by Myla Jackson

BLURB

She wants no strings…but he wants it all.

After her philandering husband left her, Lacey Lambert found sanctuary, and a better class of friends, at the Ugly Stick Saloon. She learned that the best revenge—against her ex, and the “friends” who kicked her out of the Temptation Garden Club—is to live life to the fullest.

Now that her best friend is moving out of her apartment building, she’s feeling a little lonely. And more than ready for a little commitment-free sex with the hot new downstairs tenant.

Freshly divorced, Nick McBride isn’t looking for another failed relationship. But when the luscious brunette offers no-strings sex—with him and his brother—he can’t come up with a good reason to refuse.
After he gets over the shock that she likes it loud, long, and in front of an open window, he finds himself wanting more time with her. Maybe even on a permanent basis. But it’ll take every ounce of his cowboy charms to convince her to let him sweep her off her feet.

Warning: Contains a motorcycle-ridin’ cowboy, a wild-and-free woman who doesn’t care what the town biddies think, and semi-public sex loud enough to set tongues a-waggin’!
EXCERPT

Lacey slept like a baby through what was left of the night and awoke to sunshine, blue skies and a heart lighter than it had been since she’d come to Temptation five years ago.

A knock at her door had her tossing back the covers and running to answer. Maybe the boys…er…men downstairs had come for a second helping. She was up for it.

“Just a minute!” Lacey called out.

She finger-combed her hair with quick strokes, ran a quick toothbrush over her teeth, then raced from the bathroom to throw open the door, wearing a smile and nothing else.

Kendall’s brows rose and her mouth twisted as she fought a smile. “Oh, baby, glad you didn’t feel the need to get dressed on my account.”

A stab of disappointment made Lacey glance around Kendall and look toward the staircase.

“Nope. No one behind me. Ed had to work today and no one’s home in the apartment below.” Kendall’s brows dipped. “What did you do last night?” Her eyes widened. “You did Cory.”

“Relax.” A trace of heat rose up Lacey’s neck and into her cheeks. “I didn’t just pick on Cory.”

“What do you mean?”

“Cory has a roommate.” Lacey spun away, hugging herself around her middle. “Isn’t it a glorious day?” She flung out her arms and floated toward the window, yanking on the shade, sending it spinning up into the roll. Then she opened the window and leaned out, naked and loving it. “I f**ked two men last night and it was fabulous!”

Snippet Saturday - Stop Dragging My Heart Around

BILLIONAIRE HUSBAND TEST
by Elle James aka Myla Jackson

BLURB

Skeptical billionaire takes a risk on a friend's online dating service and finds the cowgirl of his dreams, now he only has to convince her that he's her perfect match

Billionaire Online Dating Service. It's new, it's exclusive. Let's test it!

How did Billionaire Cooper Johnson allow himself to get roped into testing a brand new online dating system? After making a fortune day-trading stocks, he's on track to accomplish all his life goals, except marriage and a family. As a billionaire, meeting the right woman is a minefield of gold-diggers, false eyelashes and surgically enhanced women. The Billionaire Online Dating Service matches hand-picked, screened clientele with the mates of their dreams. Or so the package was sold. As a favor for a friend, Cooper finds himself on the Rockin' J Ranch confronting his "date's" four tough looking cowboy brothers. When their girl-next-door, long, tall, gorgeous sister steps out on the porch, Cooper doesn't know whether to run to her or away. One date, that's all he's signed up for and he can be out of there. Or will one date be enough?

She had everything—a fiancĂ©, a great future, love...until she lost it all

Still mourning the loss of her fiancé who died two years ago, Emma Jacobs can't imagine loving anyone else. But her four brothers won't quit pushing men her way. In a desperate attempt to throw her brothers off her back, she engages her friend's dating service to find a pasty-faced businessman sure to fail her brothers' husband criteria. Maybe then her brothers will finally back off and leave her alone.

Best laid plans tend to blow up in Emma's face. When her date turns out to be everything her brothers are looking for in a husband for Emma, she's got a bigger problem than she started out with. She lets Cooper in on her plan to have him date and dump her. Surprisingly he goes along with it. But Cooper has plans of his own. And they don't involve dumping the determined, sexy, independent cowgirl.

Note: Make a stop at Myla Jackson's Ugly Stick Saloon in this story and say hi to old friends.

EXCERPT

The moon shone full and bright, stars twinkled from the heavens and a soft late summer breeze lifted the hair off the back of Emma's neck.

For a moment, she could pretend they were alone in the world, only the two of them. No brothers interfering, no past, no future, no expectations, just the present and a single dance. Emma relaxed and let the music and Cooper's lead carry her.

As the song ended, another started—this one slow, sensuous, a song meant for belt-buckle-polishing closeness. Without missing a step, Cooper pulled Emma closer.

She melted against him, her cheek resting against his chest. The scent of soap, aftershave and male wafted through her senses as the hard ridge beneath his fly pressed into her belly.

Molten heat roiled through her body, and as if of their own volition, her hands rose to circle behind Cooper's neck.

Both of his claimed her lower back, nudging her even tighter against him as the muffled music droned on. They swayed slower and slower until they came to a standstill.

The music flowed on around them, but Emma couldn't move. Her gaze rose to the sparkling blue of Cooper's, reflecting the starlight.

His mouth came down over hers, gentle at first, then with increasing pressure, his tongue pushing past her lips and teeth to stroke the length of hers.

Emma's fingers laced through Cooper's dark hair, knocking the hat from his head.

Something about exposing the cowboy's head to the moonlight made Emma's nipples tightened and rub deliciously against the lace of her bra, a leg circling behind Cooper's.

"Hey, get a room," a man called out.

Emma pushed away from Cooper, her eyes wide, her heart hammering against her ribs. "That shouldn't have happened."

Cooper reached out with both arms. "But it did."

Her head shaking back and forth, Emma pressed a fist to her lips. "No. It can't. I love Marcus."

Cooper's jaw tightened and his arms fell to his sides. "Emma, Marcus is gone."

With pain radiating through her chest, Emma pressed a hand against her breast to ease it. "I have to go." She spun and ran for Ace's pickup. Once inside, she blindly jabbed the key into the ignition. She took three tries to get it in. Then she yanked the gear into reverse and spun out of the parking lot.

Despite her determination not to, Emma glanced in her rearview mirror.

Cooper scooped his hat off the ground and stood in the glow of the overhead light, watching her. Then he ran his hand through his hair.

Emma's fingers tingled with the remembered texture of that hair. She forced her focus on the road, her hands tightening around the steering wheel, the night blurring past as she sped home.

Once inside the ranch house, she raced for her room and dragged a box from beneath the bed. One by one, she pulled out pictures, keepsakes and articles of clothing. All belonging to Marcus and their life together. Nelson trotted into the room and lay down beside her, his golden chin resting on her thigh.

"Why is this happening?" Emma stroked the dog's head. "I loved Marcus. There's no other man I want in my life."

Nelson whined and nudged her hand when it stopped the stroking motion.

Emma lifted Marcus's dog tags from the bottom of the box and held the chain in her fingers. Tears slipped from the corners of her eyes.

"Why did you leave me?" More tears followed the first. Emma stared at the picture on her nightstand of Marcus and her. When she closed her eyes, the image faded, replaced by Cooper standing in the moonlight after a kiss that should never have happened.

Emma clutched Marcus's dog tags to her chest and curled up beside the golden retriever on the braided rug. "Why did you leave me?" she whispered.

As exhaustion claimed Emma, Marcus's voice seemed to whisper through the open window, "I never did and never will."

EXCERPT

As he turned onto the street where the old Ross house stood, a convertible backed out of the driveway he shared with the other two occupants. A muscular, bare-chested young man smiled and waved as he passed by with the top down, his long, bright blond hair blowing in the breeze.

His fingers tightened on the steering wheel and a frown settled between Ed's brows. Who the hell was that leaving the house he shared with Kendall and Lacey? Better be one of Lacey's conquests. She was old enough to manage her own affairs. Kendall, on the other hand, had barely been twenty-one for a few weeks. She'd better not be messing around on Ed's watch.

As he shifted into park, he glanced up at the window to Kendall's apartment. The blinds were open and Kendall stood with her side to the window, wearing nothing but a thin, lace bra and thong panties. She turned her back to the window and unclipped the bra, letting it fall down over her arms to the floor.

She might as well be naked-the thin strap of the thong cutting a line between her butt cheeks hid nothing.
Ed moaned, his cock twitched, and blood rushed in to make it swell behind his zipper. He forced anger to follow the powerful rush of lust. Did the girl have so little sense as to leave her window wide open so that any peeping Tom could look in?

With the storm of lust and righteous anger driving him forward, Ed leaped out of the car, passed the door to his apartment on the first floor and took the steps two at a time to the upper apartment where Kendall lived. He hammered on the door until Kendall flung it open.

"Oh, Ed." She cupped her hands over her naked breasts, like that did anything to hide their beautiful, lush fullness from Ed's vision. "Where's the fire?"

Ed pushed past her and marched to the window on the other side of the apartment, yanking the string on the shade so hard, the shade popped out of its slot and clattered to the floor.

Kendall giggled behind him, her eyes going wide when Ed glared.

He gathered the shade from the floor, fit the ends into the slot and lowered it with more precision and care this time. When he was done, he faced Kendall, and breathed a sigh to find her clutching a shirt to her chest. "Don't undress in front of the window. I thought your mother taught you better than that."

"There's not anyone on this street who'd care but Old Man Frantzen." She tossed her hair. "I'm sure he's so blind he couldn't see that far anyway."

Ed jerked his thumb toward the window. "You never know what perverts are lurking out there looking for an eyeful. And honey, you were giving an eyeful and then some."

Her eyelids closed to half-mast and she sidled close. "Perverts? Hum…sounds interesting." Slim fingers climbed up his chest and the shirt she held slipped lower, letting one perky nipple peek through.
Ed reached out and lifted the shirt to cover her flesh, realizing his mistake as soon as the backs of his fingers brushed over her naked skin. Stifling a groan, he jumped back. "Just close the blinds before you strip, will ya?"

"Yes, sir!" Kendall popped a salute.

That pesky shirt slipped down again to expose the other pretty breast.

A moan escaped Ed's throat and he dove for the door.

Blurb from SEX ED found in Cowboy 6 Pack:

She wanted lessons in how to make a cowboy hot...
He was the cowboy to teach her

Kendall has loved sexy cowboy Ed Johnson since the first time she saw him taming wild horses. Now Kendall is twenty-one, legal and ready to be more than friends. In her bid to win his affections she asks Ed to give her a few Sex Education lessons about what makes a cowboy hot.

Ed promised Kendall's brother he'd keep an eye on his little sister while he's away defending their country. But Ed's pretty darn certain Sex Education lessons aren't what big brother had in mind. Caught between his pledge and a recently matured little sex kitten, Ed struggles to keep his word, while giving Kendall what she wants, Sex Ed.
Excerpt from SEX ED:

"There he is." Kendall smiled and waved at Cory.
He danced his way over to Kendall and shook his hips, twisting and gyrating the way Kendall had taught him. Cory had natural rhythm. All Kendall had done was shown him a few moves that would get attention and hopefully land him extra tips to help him with the rent while he attended college.
Kendall was so proud of him. He had a great body, why not make enough cash in one night to pay the rent for the next two months? That way, his studies didn't have to suffer by holding down a full-time job and going to school at night.
Cory reached down his hand.
Kendall had a dollar ready to slap into his palm.
Only he didn't take the money, he pulled her up onto the stage with a quick tug.
"What are you doing?" She laughed and tried to step down.
"Rather you than one of those other horny women. Please help me with the show and save me from the masses. You're good at this." He danced around her, grinding his pelvis into her hips.
Kendall's cheeks burned. If Cory was more comfortable by dancing the first song with her, what could it hurt? She smiled and laughed, pretending to be one of the random women the men selected on occasion to fuel the crowd.
Cory twirled her around and backed her into his arms, his cock grinding against her ass, his hands sliding down her sides to her hips.
It was yet another one of the moves Kendall had taught him, and he was doing so well. Kendall should have moved off the stage and let him bring another woman up onto stage. One with money burning a hole in her pocket.
Kendall straightened, laughing. "You're on your own, Cory."
Cory jerked away and a larger pair of hands clamped around her waist, holding her in place. "What the hell?" When she twisted toward her captor, he refused to let her, his hips pumping to the rhythm of the music, his hands sliding up her waist.
Cory danced by with a shrug and a grin.
Kendalls heart raced, defensive instincts kicking in. "Let go of me."
Chaps flapped against her legs. Chaps that barely covered the massive thighs beneath them.
Kendall's heart raced and a slow burn skimmed beneath every inch of her skin. A quick glance over her shoulder did nothing to quell the rise of heat in her body. The man behind her wore a cowboy hat and a black mask. "Who are you?"
The man's mouth curved upward in a deadly sexy smile. "The Lone Ranger, ma'am. Here to rescue you," he said in a deep voice.
So deep, Kendall could have fallen into it. Her breath grew ragged as the cowboy's hands slid up from her waist to cup her breasts. Kendall leaned back into him, his tough leather and man-musk scent making her knees weak. "No, really." Her voice ragged, she swallowed hard and continued. "Who are you?"
"Ride with me into the sunset, beautiful lady, and I'll reveal all."
Her heart skipped several beats then raced to catch up. Hell, what was she thinking? She loved Ed, not this sexy cowboy who danced in strip clubs. "No. No, I can't. I have a boyfriend. I'm practically engaged."
He spun her away from him and back into his arms so that she faced him. "This Cory dude is not the man for you."
Her boobs crashed into his naked chest, forcing her breath out in a gasp. Kendall stared into the man's sky blue eyes.
He lifted his cowboy hat and winked.
"Ed?" Joy swelled in her chest as Kendall stood stock still in the middle of the dance floor. "What are you doing here?"
"Keeping you from making a mistake with pretty boy." He nodded his head toward Cory.
"By dancing naked in front of all these barracudas?" She shook her head and laughed out loud. "Really, why are you here?"
"That's just it. I couldn't let you go out on a date with Cory. He's not the right man for you."
Irritation straightened her spine. Kendall planted her fists on her hips and faced off with Ed Judson. "No? Then who is, Ed? Who is the right man for me?"
Ed opened his mouth to answer, but before any words could come out, Big Joe Sealy plucked Kendall from the stage and set her on the barroom floor. "Time's up, Kendall. Let one of the other ladies have a shot at the cowboy."
